2007 Kids' Fun Fair Photos - Chester County

On Saturday June 2, 2007, I hosted my first annual Chester County Kids’ Fun Fair at Lincoln University.  The event was an enjoyable family experience with a variety of programs, music, entertainment, and educational exhibits. 

Representatives from state and local agencies were on hand to provide valuable information on programs and services available to families and children. The Philadelphia Zoo presented its Zoo on Wheels "Outrageous Reptiles Program" and the Franklin Institute offered its "Traveling Science Hot and Cold Show." Generous sponsors made the event possible, including Acme Markets, Chester Water Authority, Comcast, Exelon Genesis Health Care, Giant Foods, Herr Foods Inc., Hershey Foods, J & L Entertainment, John C. Leo & Son, LLC, Krapf Coaches, McDonald’s, PECO Energy, Penn Brew Station, Sher-Rockee Mushroom Farms, TLC Refreshments, Tastykake, Tri-State Moving Inc., Verizon, and Wawa Inc. Lincoln University deserves special thanks for hosting the event. 

The Kids’ Fun Fair was well received by the residents of southern Chester County, and I appreciate all of those who took the time to come out for the fun and informational activities. I look forward to bringing the event to the 9th District again next year.
