2009 Kids' Fun Fair Photos - Delaware County

On Saturday October 10, 2009, I hosted my 7th annual Kids' Fun Fair at Sun Valley High School in Aston. The event was an enjoyable experience for area families, and representatives from state and local agencies were on hand to provide valuable information on programs and services available to families and children.

The Philadelphia Zoo presented its Zoo on Wheels "Outrageous Reptiles Program" and the Franklin Institute offered its "Traveling Science Show." The Pennsylvania Freemasons Foundation for Children was also on hand to promote its Child Identification Program (CHIP), which provides free computer-scanned fingerprints of children and a DNA kit.  Additionally, the SEPTA K-9 Unit performed an outdoor show.

The Kids' Fun Fair continues to be well received by the community, and I appreciate all of those who took the time to come out for the fun and informational activities. I look forward to bringing the event to the 9th District again next year.
