January 19, 2012 - Senator Pileggi and Representative Micozzie took part in the Bravo Foundation's check presentation to the Widener University Child Development Center in Chester. AETNA Health Insurance Company donated $85,000 in Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) scholarships to help area families attending Widener's early childhood education program. |

January 5, 2012 - Penelope Reed, Producing Artistic Director of the Hedgerow Theatre, and Senator Pileggi cut a ceremonial ribbon to unveil the theatre’s new parking lot and driveway. The project was made possible with the help of a $25,000 state grant. Attending the event were Hedgerow Theatre staff and volunteers, Mayor Tim Plummer of Rose Valley Borough and members of Borough Council, and Alex Charlton of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
