July 27, 2007 – Senator Pileggi joined The Honorable Wendell Butler, Jr., Mayor of Chester, to announce funding for the City’s Wellington Heights Homeownership Project. The funding will be used to construct 20 semi-detached, single-family homes in both the Highland Gardens and 6th and Rearney neighborhoods of the City of Chester. |
July 24, 2007 - Senator Pileggi participated in the ribbon cutting officially opening Matopos Hills Senior Apartments, the newest low-income housing development in the City of Chester. |

Pileggi spoke to reporters about the status of budget negotiations. The
senators were calling on the Governor to join them in passing a no-tax-increase budget. |
