January 31, 2008 – Senator Pileggi and Governor Ed Rendell announced $47 million in state funding toward a $414 million riverfront development in the City of Chester. The project will include townhouses and apartments, retail and office space, a convention center, a multi-use stadium that is expected to be home to a professional soccer team, and a riverside promenade at the foot of the Commodore Barry Bridge. Pictured are (left to right) Senator Pileggi, Governor Rendell; and Linda Cartisano, Delaware County Council Chairperson.

January  31, 2008 - Senator Pileggi and Rob Buccini at the announcement of the riverfront development in the City of Chester.  Mr. Buccini is a founding partner of the Buccini/Polin Group.

January 30, 2008 - Senator Pileggi spoke to reporters regarding Senate Bill 1, legislation greatly expanding Pennsylvania's Open Records Law, now Act 3 of 2008.

January 28, 2008 - Senator Pileggi presented a congratulatory certificate to Mr. Gabriel Elias, of Wallingford, a recent graduate of Temple University. Mr. Elias presented his undergraduate project in the rotunda of the capitol building.

January 27, 2008 - Senator Pileggi was on hand as the Lighthouse Youth Center in Oxford celebrated 20 years of service. January 27, 2008 - Senator Pileggi presents a Senatorial citation to Buzz D. Tyson, executive director of the Lighthouse Youth Center in Oxford, commemorating the center on 20 years of service.

January 11, 2008 - Senator Pileggi visited with Jim and Denise Raith of Thornbury Township, Chester County, who were in Harrisburg for the day.
