March 31, 2008 – Senator Pileggi welcomed Ann
Getty DeMoise of York to the floor of the Senate.
Mrs. DeMoise (seated) was honored by the Senate for
the work and service she provided during World War
II, when she was part of the top secret team that
created the technology for the Enola Gay. Pictured

March 24, 2008 – Senator Pileggi took part in a groundbreaking
ceremony for Westminster Place at Parkesburg, a project designed to
provide affordable living for people 55 and older who meet certain

March 19, 2008 – Senator Pileggi took part in a ceremony at American
Christian School in Aston to mark the donation of $30,000 from Aetna
to the Bravo Foundation through Pennsylvania’s Educational
Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. The funds will be used to
provide scholarships for local children who want to attend private
schools like American Christian. Pictured with Senator Pileggi are

March 10, 2008 - The “State Street Miracles” troupe
performed in the Capitol Rotunda. The group practices at the Media
Theatre for the Performing Arts, and has performed at a number of
locations in Delaware County. Senator Pileggi co-sponsored Senator
Erickson’s SR 247, recognizing the month of March 2008 as "National
Developmental Disability Awareness Month" in PA. (3 photos)

March 10, 2008 - Senator Pileggi presented Rebecca Viguers with a citation recognizing her for her achievement as a finalist in the Elementary Level Division of the PA Art Education Association Youth Art Month Program. Senator Pileggi presented remarks at a recognition program in the rotunda. He is a co-sponsor of SR 235, designating the month of March 2008 as "Youth Art Month" in PA. (4 photos) |
