May 30, 2008 – Senator Pileggi hosted his 6th Annual
Senior Expo at Neumann College in Aston. The event, which brought
together more than 65 exhibitors from various governmental agencies,
continues to be well received by residents of the 9th District.

May 23, 2008 – Senator Pileggi speaks with (left to
right) Regina Ubaldi-Rosen, Maria Rodriguez and Brenda Aguilera-Sosa
of La Communidad Hispana, a community-based nonprofit organization
that provides services to the Latino community and other vulnerable
residents in Southern Chester County. Senator Pileggi secured a
state grant that allowed La Communidad Hispana to purchase the new

May 23, 2008 - Senator Pileggi helped Mayor Wendell N. Butler
Jr. and other dignitaries cut the ribbon officially unveiling the City of
Chester’s RiverWalk. The track, which is nearly a mile long, is part of the
city’s ongoing revitalization initiative. Pictured (left to right) are:

May 12, 2008 - Dabria Chatman, an eighth grader at Wetherill Middle School in Chester, Delaware County, was honored at the State Capitol for receiving first place in a 300 word essay contest on "What Family Means to Me," sponsored by the PA State Resource Family Association and the Three Rivers Adoption Council. Dabria is pictured with Senator Pileggi, her grandmother Della Chatman, and Lieutenant Governor Catherine Baker Knoll.

May 7, 2008 - Senator Pileggi was instrumental in securing state funding which will be used to help build a Public Safety Training Center for emergency responders in Chester County. A $1 million check was presented to the Chester County Economic Development Council. |

May 6, 2008 – Senator Pileggi spoke at the 7th birthday party for Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit, a program which gives parents a real choice when it comes to deciding how their children should be educated.
