September 15, 2008 – Senator Pileggi, along with Senator Ted Erickson and Representative Tom Killion, helped secure a state grant for the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation in Media through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The funds will be used to replace a barn on the plantation’s property.

September 12, 2008 – Senator Pileggi hosted a Senior Expo at the Red Clay Room in Kennett Square. More than 45 exhibitors from federal, state, county and local agencies were in attendance, offering information on programs of interest to seniors. September 11, 2008 – Senator Pileggi presented Upper Chichester Township with a grant in the amount of $50,000, which will be used to purchase a new police vehicle and to assist in emergency training for the township’s police officers.
