December 10, 2008 – Senator Pileggi helped open the new
60-room Best Western Hotel at Providence Avenue and East 15th Street in the
City of Chester. The hotel is part of The Hub, a $50 million retail and
residential development being built in Chester. The Hub will include 57
residential apartment units, a 7-11 convenience store, a Chester Police
sub-station and a yet-unnamed full service bank and restaurant. (Click on

December 10, 2008 - Senator Pileggi (left), Magisterial District Judge Spencer Seaton (center), and Senator Anthony Williams (right) were on hand at the Chester Community Charter School’s One Laptop Per Child event. All students in grades 3 through 8 were given laptop computers. The laptops were made possible by Vahan and Danielle Gureghian. (Click on the photograph for an additional photo from this event.)

Dec. 1, 2008 – Senator Pileggi took part in the groundbreaking
ceremony for the riverfront development in the City of Chester. A soccer stadium
