January 30, 2009 – Senator Pileggi presented a $7,000 state grant to the
Avondale Fire Company for purchasing fire masks and other firefighting

January 30, 2009 – Senator Pileggi presented a $25,000
state grant to Sadsbury Township for purchasing a new police car. Pictured with

Township Supervisors, and Sadsbury Township Police Chief Jay Groce. |
January 21, 2009 – Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R-Delaware) joined
members of the Senate Republican caucus at a capitol news conference to announce
the introduction of a 10-bill package of reforms intended to bring greater
accountability and transparency to state government. |

January 8, 2009 - Senator Pileggi provided Certificates of Accomplishment to
constituents Gerri Whye, of Chester, and Kelli Ragland of Upland (pictured in
back center and right), who were in Harrisburg being honored for their
successful completion of the Keystone Education Yields Success (KEYS) program.
The program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Public Welfare
and Pennsylvania’s 14 community colleges, and provides a range of support to
students who are attending school, working and raising their children. Gerri and
Kelli are recent graduates of Delaware County Community College. |
January 6, 2009 - Senator Dominic Pileggi took the oath of office for his third term as State Senator, representing the 9th Senatorial District.
