December 15, 2009 – Fourth Graders from Octorara Elementary School in Atlgen, Chester County, visited the State Capitol Building.

December 9, 2009 – Senator Pileggi was on hand as Todd Darlington from Verizon presented a grant in the amount of $15,000 to La Comunidad Hispana in Kennett Square. The grant will be used towards an English as a Second Language (ESL) Program. Pictured (left to right) are Darlington; Margarita Queralt Mirkil, Executive Director of La Comunidad Hispana; Tamara Fox, Director of Development for La Comunidad Hispana; and Senator Pileggi.
