December 13, 2010 – Senator Pileggi took part in presenting a $4 million check to the Delaware County Community College, allowing the Chester-Upland School District to become a sponsoring district of the college and making higher education more affordable and accessible for its residents. Earlier this year, Senator Pileggi sponsored an amendment to dedicate Chester's local share of revenue from table games to the Delaware County Community College, reducing tuition costs for CUSD residents by half.
