Senator Pileggi's 2011 Senior Expo

On Thursday, May 12, 2011, I welcomed over 300 area seniors to my 9th Annual Senior Expo in the Red Clay Room in Kennett Square, Chester County. 

About 60 exhibitors were on hand from federal, state, county and local agencies to provide visitors with a wide array of information on programs and services available for seniors. Among the agencies and organizations at the Senior Expo were Genesis HealthCare, AARP, the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate, Meals on Wheels, Brandywine River Valley Homecare, Chester County Veterans Affairs, and the Arthritis Foundation. 

I would like to thank the exhibitors and the event's sponsors, the Chester Water Authority, Comcast and the DNB First Bank. 

This year's Senior Expo was very well received, and I am very much looking forward to next year's event.
