FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Senator Pileggi Reminds Constituents to Register to Vote Before October 6 DeadlineSenate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R-9) today reminded his constituents to register to vote in the general election on November 4. The deadline to register is Monday, October 6, 2008. "Voting is a crucial part of our democratic process," said Senator Pileggi. "On November 4, Pennsylvanians have the chance to take part in a historic election. I encourage anyone who is eligible to vote but has not yet registered to do so as soon as possible." Residents may register to vote in person at a county voter registration office, or by visiting any of Senator Pileggi's district offices, which are located in Glen Mills (100 Evergreen Drive, Suite 113, 610-358-5183), Chester (415 Avenue of the States, 610-447-5845), and West Grove (631 West Baltimore Pike, 610-345-1084). A voter registration form can also be downloaded from the Pennsylvania Department of State's online voter information center at www.votespa.com.
